Hotel Leela, Kempinski Hotels to End up their 25-year-old Tie-Up

The famous chain of Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, which is run by the prestigious Hotel Leelaventure Ltd, and Kempinski Hotels SA have arrived at the decision of ending up their 25 years long tie-up. According to the companies, “Following a progressive phase-out which began in 2012, the agreement will allow The Leela to further consolidate its sales and marketing network, while facilitating Kempinski Hotels’s direct penetration of the important Indian market.”

C.P. Krishnan Nair, the chairman emeritus along with being the founder chairman of The Leela Palaces stated that the strong alliance between the top two Chennai hotels has helped in increasing the brand awareness about them at global levels in addition to the Indian market. The Leela Palaces, Resorts and Hotels owns as well as run eight hotels in New Delhi, Mumbai, Udaipur, Goa, Kovalam, Chennai and Gurgaon. The property is one of the popular Chennai hotels.
